Up to 150 meters of OM4 MMF and 100 meters of OM3 MMF connections are made possible by the QSFP+ transceiver module's four-channel, pluggable, parallel, 12-fiber MTP/MPO male connectors and fiber-optic QSFP+ transceiver. An excellent 850nm VSCEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) transmitter and an 11.3Gb/s PIN photodiode receiver are used in this 40G SR4 QSFP+ module. QSFP+ 40Gbase SR4 functions throughout the standard temperature range of 0° to 70°C. It works flawlessly with every 40GBASE-SR4 standard interface. As described in the QSFP+ MSA, it is outfitted with digital diagnostic monitoring via the I2C interface, which enables real-time access to operating information. The design of this optical module makes installation simple.
