400G QSFP-DD LR4 10km Duplex LC
Applications that require a 10 km network connection utilize the QSFP DD 400GBASE LR4 optical transceiver. This device converts 8 channels of 50 Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data into 4 channels of CWDM optical signals. The signals are then remultiplexed into a single channel, enabling the optical transfer of 400GB/s. On the receiving end, the device takes the 400 Gb/s optical input and splits it into four channels containing CWDM optical signals. It then converts these back into eight channels of 50 Gb/s (PAM4) electrical output data. The CWDM4 specification uses four distinct channels with center wavelengths at 1271 nm, 1291 nm, 1311 nm, and 1331 nm, each operating at 100 Gb/s. This transceiver is designed to ensure reliable and high-speed data transmission. The transmitter includes an optical multiplexer featuring four individual EML drivers and lasers. Additionally, the receiver path is connected to an optical demultiplexer that helps manage the four channels. The QSFP DD 400GBASE LR4 is ideally suited for use in data centers, particularly for applications involving CEI 56G-VSR-PAM4 and 400G-LR4-10.
