10G SFP+ BiDi optic transceiver units offer Bidirectional 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity via single-mode fiber, with transmission distances ranging from 10 km.

The BiDi1 models as well as the BiDi2 models have opposite wavelength configurations. This creates effective point-to-point connections when placed together. BiDi1 is a 1270nm wavelength that transmits, while receiving at 1330nm. BiDi2 utilizes the reverse configuration. Both models are equipped with DFB laser technology that incorporates PIN photodetector technology, which ensures the reliability of signal transmission across single-mode fiber networks. Hot-pluggable SFP with a form factor that includes a simplex LC connector, allowing seamless integration without interruption to service. The all-metal housing design provides excellent EMI shielding, while also ensuring optimal thermal control in the most demanding networks.

Operating at a maximum power consumption of less than 1W from a single 3.3V supply, these modules deliver energy-efficient performance ideal for deployments in high-density environments. The vast temperature range, ranging from 0°C to +70°C, assures the reliability of operation in business and industrial environments.
