The four 25.78125G data transmissions of two kilometers over SMF can be supported with QSFP28, the QSFP28 100G PSM4 optical transceiver module. The QSFP MSA SFF-8436, SFF-836, and PSM4 MSA standards are all fulfilled by the optical PSM4 100G module. The I2C interface offers Digital Diagnostic capabilities. Control features such as Module Select (ModSelL), Module Reset (ResetL), and Low Power Mode (LPMode) are created by using CML's host's LVTTL interfaces. Differential AC-coupled Tx as well as Rx information interfaces work with CML. It is RoHS compliant and has an energy consumption that is reduced to 3.5W. Applications that require high-performance computers or data centers, as well as 100-gigabit Ethernet, are best suited to the QSFP 100G PSM4 optical module.
