With KP-FEC, the 100GBASE-DR1 QSFP28 transceiver module can communicate up to 500m in G.652 SMF. The transceiver 100Gbase DR1 is compatible with IEEE 802.3cu 100GBASE-DR1 and also the QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). Signal processing is enhanced thanks to the digital 100G signal processing (DSP) that can handle data rates aggregating to 106.25 Gb/s. Its power consumption of only 4 watts and commercial temperature range from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius help to improve its energy efficiency. For reliable operation with a range of up to 500m, the optical module comes with a VCSEL with four channels of 1310 nm array and a PIN detector. It also comes with routers or switches, a 4:1 breakout with 400GBASE-DR4, and reliable connectivity within the center of data. Because it conforms to RoHS and RoHS, it's an environmentally friendly option for modern networking settings.
