The SFP 1000BASE-T SFP copper transceiver module adopts a conventional copper cable to provide a reliable 1 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. This hot-pluggable module is an affordable solution for situations in which fiber installation isn't possible or where the copper network is in place. It supports transmission distances of 100m using Cat 5 cables. It transmits data at a full duplex of 1000Mbps across four copper wires with advanced signaling technology called PAM (Pulse Amplitude Modulation) signaling technology. To meet the demands of Gigabit Ethernet applications, the transceiver's bi-directional capability of up to 1.25Gb/s assures the highest performance. All major networking equipment manufacturers have a SEREDS interface, which provides seamless integration with the standard SFP ports. The metallic enclosure guarantees reliable signal integrity in demanding settings, offering enhanced protection from electromagnetic interference. Direct connection to the current copper infrastructure is enabled through the compact RJ-45 connector, which does away with the need to use adapters or wiring. With the power requirement of <=1.05W, it is effective and suitable for high-density installations in which power control is essential.
